Something else than gas
Cooking on induction works differently than cooking on gas. The cooktop itself doesn't get hot, but heats the bottom of the pan. The cooktop remains a lot cooler, which makes it a lot safer. In addition, an induction cooktop has a lot more options than a gas cooktop, like room for elongated pans.
