Everything on the Apple AirPods 3
Recognizable design
The design of the Apple AirPods 3 is very similar to that of the AirPods Pro. There's one big difference. The AirPods 3 are earbuds. That means the earbuds don't go directly into your ear channel, like the Pro earbuds do.
H1 chip
We already know the H1 chip from the AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro. This chip ensures that your earbuds automatically connect to your Apple devices and lets you activate Siri with your voice. The AirPods 3 have the same chip, so you can enjoy the same benefits.
Spatial Audio
Spatial Audio makes movies, series, and TV programs sound spatial. You can especially enjoy this with movies that support Dolby Atmos, which makes the sound three-dimensional. This way, the earbuds simulate a movie theater sound. The AirPods Max and AirPods Pro already had this technology, and now the AirPods 3 do too.
Battery life
Partly thanks to the new chip, the battery lasts slightly longer. On a full charge, you can listen to music for 6 hours. The charging case offers 24 hours of battery. Is the battery of the charging case empty? Place it on a wireless charger and it will start charging. A wireless charger isn't included by default
Apple AirPods 4
The Apple AirPods 3 are no longer available, but Apple did announce the AirPods 4 and AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation at the Apple KeyNote in September 2024. These earbuds have a sturdier design than the Apple AirPods 3. The AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation also have noise suppression. This noise-canceling technology reduces ambient noise, so you can immerse yourself in your favorite music even more.
