Expert review of the Apple AirPods 4

In a quiet environment, the audio of the Apple AirPods 4 sounds balanced. The treble, mids, and bass all sound good. That way, music styles like pop music sound clear. I do miss the intensity of the bass reproduction that I want to hear when I listen to rock or electronic music. Music also sounds less balanced in a busy environment. That's because the earbuds don't have noise canceling. With the AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods 4 Active Noise Cancellation, music sounds more clear and I hear more detail.

Thanks to the new design, the AirPods 4 fit more firmly in my ears than the AirPods 3. They don't fall out of my ears, for example. That's because the earbuds fit more firmly in my ears than the Apple AirPods 3. Personally, I think that in-ear earbuds have a higher wearing comfort thanks to the ear tips. They sit more firmly in my ears, so they don't fall out as easily. That's why the AirPods 4 with an earbud design are less comfortable in my ears than the AirPods Pro 2, for example.

If I lose my AirPods, I can easily find them via the 'Find My' function. With this function, I can see where my AirPods are on a map in the app on my iPhone.
