Note: I discovered too late that my laptop can't connect a screen via the USB-C port at all; it only works through my laptop's own HDMI port. So I can't use the HDMI port on this docking station, because it sends the signal to the USB-C port. Apparently, there's supposed to be a certain symbol next to your computer's USB-C port that indicates which devices can and can't be connected.
Another drawback is that the USB-C port is only used for charging. What a waste of space for an extra port! I had to buy an extra USB-C to USB-A adapter to connect the accessory I wanted to plug into the USB-C port to the USB-A port. This left me short of a USB-A port, which I solved by using an old USB-A power strip.
The internet adapter and USB-A ports work fine, but my laptop doesn't always recognize all connected accessories immediately when starting up, and then I have to plug the docking station in and out again and then everything works again.
