I had high expectations of the AI robot vacuum cleaner. When I was allowed to test it for a few weeks, I was very curious about the object recognition. Unfortunately, that was disappointing quite quickly. Slanted chair legs and some lower protruding things (such as trash can pedal) are prey for it. With the app you can mark some places that should be avoided, but it is precisely those kinds of places where hairs remain. Too bad. The app itself is also a bit messy. If you want to control the vacuum cleaner yourself, you can, but only in monitoring mode, not vacuuming. There is also a delay in between, which makes it pretty useless.

The Samsung jetbot is a beautifully designed robot vacuum cleaner that vacuums well and is smart enough to leave its mops in its docking station. It cleans well, but my biggest complaint is that it does not use any cleaning agent. In the long term, despite steaming, the mops will still stink and the waste water tank in particular will grow. This does require some maintenance. It also has some handy functions, such as being able to use it as a security guard at home and having it drive around on patrol.

I’ve had the chance to try out this robot vacuum for a few weeks and I’m impressed. It has a handy integrated mopping function and the AI object recognition works great, allowing the robot to move smoothly around obstacles. The rotating mop ensures thorough floor cleaning, and the vacuum itself performs well, although it struggles to clean corners.

The accompanying app is easy to use, which makes operating the robot simple. The charging station is on the large side, but that’s understandable because it stores both clean and dirty water and automatically empties the dust bin. The steam function ensures that the mop always remains hygienic.

Charging is fast, which is a big plus. One downside is that the robot makes a bit of noise while cleaning. A handy feature is that it recognizes carpets and automatically pulls the mop up, so that the carpet doesn’t get wet. All in all, the Samsung Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ AI Steam is a powerful and versatile robot vacuum that is definitely worth considering.
