With a Nespresso Original, you can quickly and easily make an espresso or lungo. You can choose between various coffee capsules with each their own character and intensity. These airtight capsules contain freshly ground coffee beans. You can choose between a small, large, strong, or decaf coffee. Do you prefer to drink milk specialties? Choose a Nespresso Original with a milk frother, steam wand, or milk reservoir.
Nespresso Vertuo: for great coffee moments
With a Nespresso Vertuo, you can drink a different cup of coffee every moment of the day. You can choose from 5 cup sizes, from a 40ml espresso to a 535ml carafe. What makes the Vertuo stand out compared to the Original, is that the capsules rotate in the coffee machine. This releases rich aromas, which results in a soft crema. There's a barcode on every capsule, which the coffee machine uses to adjust the recipe. It adjusts the pressure, temperature, volume, and amount of water, for example. Each coffee capsule has its own intensity and flavor profile. And with a separate milk frother, you can turn black coffees into milk specialties.
Recycle capsules
Nespresso is a good choice for you if you care about sustainability. Nespresso recycles all their aluminum capsules, for example. Both the coffee and the capsule get a second life. Nespresso converts coffee into compost and biogas, and melts the capsules to create other products. That way, nothing goes to waste. You can bring your capsules to 1 of the 6000 pickup points, hand them in at a Nespresso Boutique, or have Nespresso come and pick them up at your house.
