The Ring Intercom is an addition to your own intercom, so it gets all the smart functions. You can link your intercom to the Ring app on your smartphone. With it, you can remotely open the door of your apartment and talk to visitors. Note: the Ring Intercom isn't a separate intercom, but a device you add to your own intercom.
