BBQing is really enjoyable for me, a nice hobby where I prepare all kinds of dishes for friends and family. I also BBQ all year round. I replaced my table BBQ two years ago, now the time was right for a new large all-round BBQ. Nowadays you see a lot of people going for a Kamado, but I chose this Weber anyway. The reason I have chosen this is that I think that with a Weber you really achieve a greater versatility of taste experiences than with a Kamado, in which the 'smoke taste' often predominates in my opinion, but as they say: tastes differ.

This Weber comes with a large package of accessories and handy tools, in my case this also included the GBS cast iron sear grate, an absolute must for anyone who likes well-grilled juicy steaks as you get them served in a good restaurant! Tip: let the cast iron get really hot for the best result.
The manual clearly describes with which accessories you can use your BBQ in a certain way, smoking, roasting, grilling directly or indirectly, etc. For me this really came to life by simply reading a number of recipes from the Weber website and Weber magazine. that explains exactly how to prepare the BBQ for a certain dish. After doing this a few times, this is really a breeze. Smoked salmon is my son's favorite, grilled steak with my wife and daughter and for me really the Beer Can Chicken or a good dark Belgian Beer.

The thermometer in the lid helps you keep the BBQ at the right temperature, I also use a separate thermometer for the core temperature that you simply click into place with a magnet on the holder next to the handle. The hinged lid is handy for anyone who, like me, always has their hands full at the BBQ, no more fumbling with a loose lid that no longer falls on the floor ;-). The container for the ash is practical, with the spoons on the bottom you can quickly clear the oxygen holes during BBQing.

Because the middle part of the grid can be removed and replaced, this is really a very versatile BBQ. You can place a Beer Can Chicken holder in it or a Dutch Oven pan. I'm going to use the latter nicely in the autumn for beautiful stews, although I don't have to think about that yet, let the summer come with this BBQ. I look forward to many beautiful BBQ evenings with family and friends!

If you only get euro bangers from the supermarket, then you probably didn't end up at this bbq.
If you really like bbqing, this bbq is great.
Due to the size, you can also prepare large pieces of meat on it, for example a Picanha, tomahawk steak (without having to saw off the bone first, because otherwise the lid will not fit closed) or bib fat.
and with the coal holders you can easily create a cold (indirect heat) zone and a hot (direct heat) zone.
And with the included smoking ring (which is not for sale separately), I have already made delicious smoked spare ribs (recommended)

A really great BBQ. Lots of space due to the size of the grid. The diffuser plate allows you to use the entire surface of the grill for indirect barbecue. With the GBS grid you can easily place a pizza stone or the supplied sear grate. At first the lid didn't want to close completely. This problem was solved by reversing the springs at the hinge. Highly recommended!
