Well, where do I start? At first glance, it's a great washer-dryer combination. But there are a few ifs and buts.

It washes and dries well, but the laundry comes out of the dryer very wrinkled. But in return, the laundry is bone and bone dry. It's just weird (and strange) that you really only have two choices when it comes to drying: do not dry, or cupboard dry. With many machines you can also opt for iron dry, for example, but that is not possible here. Yes, you can select how long the machine should dry. But take a good look at that. And unfortunately, the temperature when drying is really high, so you can't use the drying function for sensitive clothing. There is no option to dry with cold air, for example.

The washing machine has a wide range of pre-programmed washing programs. You can choose cotton, synthetic, outdoor clothing, and so on. But also for bedding, for example. Only these programs are very strangely programmed and therefore not really usable. For example, bedding cannot be warmer than 40 degrees and the machine cannot spin faster than 800 rpm. Drying afterwards is also not an option. And so there are more programs in which you want to dry but cannot, or selecting a different temperature is not possible.

Because I was often at night or when I am not at home, I liked to be with the "eco" option. Then it takes a lot longer, but that doesn't matter because I'm asleep or gone. Unfortunately, this is of little use to the Samsung, because the washing machine determines via artificial intelligence how warm the laundry should be - that is somewhere between 40 and 60 degrees. Because I have quite a lot of fragile clothes, I don't want to run the risk that the washing machine washes at 60 degrees, so I can throw my clothes away. Unfortunately, another option written off.

Then the "AddWash" door. Ideal concept and if you look at the photo, you still think you have a large input for when the laundry is already running. Unfortunately, this is also one in the category "good idea, but the execution is a bit less". The transit is a kind of funnel and goes from very wide to quite narrow. As a result, it is really not possible to add a forgotten item of clothing larger than a sock or underpants. In addition, after a few rounds of spinning, the wax is so shaken in the drum that the wax is actually too much in the way to be able to add anything easily.

Then the self-cleaning detergent drawer. Sounds of course like an ideal concept and this option has also convinced me to take this machine. Unfortunately, there is already so much detergent left in the drawer after 1 wash that you have to clean it yourself (and I also wonder if enough detergent was taken during the washing program).

The (iOS) app also offers few extras. There is a whole function with which you can indicate what clothes you wash, how dirty it is and what color it is, and then the app recommends a certain washing program. But here he only advises the name of the program ("cotton" or "synthetic"), but again not what temperature or how hard the spin should be. It also has no button to send the washing program to the washing machine. You have to do all that yourself. So another depreciated option.

TLDR: Samsung promises a lot of options that sound very good on paper, but are not all. Then I would rather have a slightly dumber washing machine, but with which I have much more freedom to determine how my laundry is turned.
