With the LG OLED77G45LW I enjoy films in the highest image quality. The images on the screen are very realistic due to the high brightness and strong contrast.

High brightness
I immediately noticed that this OLED TV has a high brightness. The strong contrast ensures that the images are super realistic. The processor in this TV recognizes what you are watching and improves the image quality, making your image more detailed and colorful. For example, if you watch Full HD images via YouTube, the processor makes these images sharper. The Micro Lens Array layer in the screen avoids internal reflections from other layers in the screen. This ensures extra high brightness and contrast. I'm watching a movie set in the jungle. I got carried away by the beautiful colors and textures that the screen shows.

Few reflections
The TV is in a room with many large windows. When I open all the curtains, I notice that the images on the screen remain clearly visible. The anti-reflection layer on the screen ensures that you see almost no light reflections. This means I can enjoy good image quality even in a room with a lot of sunlight.

Sleek design
The narrow, sleek design of the television looks great in my modern interior. With the supplied wall bracket it is possible to hang the TV tightly against the wall. This gives a modern and spacious feeling in the living room.

Smart platform and remote control
LG's WebOS smart platform looks clear. I can easily open apps and websites from the menu. I can also quickly find my favorite apps such as Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ via the included Magic Remote. The smart buttons on the remote control give you direct access to these apps. The remote control looks clear and fits comfortably in the hand.

The LG G4 is a very nice TV with good build quality, it is so thin that you can hang it flat on the wall with the supplied wall bracket. The image is sharp and of good quality, black is also really black. The colors are bright and really stand out. This TV has the LG home hub built in that works with matter, this allows me to control my Philips HUE lamps and other smart home devices via this TV.
The sound quality of this TV is okay, but not very special, I would recommend connecting a soundbar to it. I also used the game function, this is really a must for the gamers among us and ensures a very well-adjusted image and high Frames per second (FPS) so that the image does not stutter. One downside I find is the remote control that comes with it, it works great, but in the dark it is really annoying that the buttons are not illuminated, so you are always looking for the right button. All in all, the LG G4 is a great TV and a good all-rounder for everyone, however I think the price is on the high side, but you get value for your money and I definitely recommend this TV.

After testing the LG G4 OLED 65-inch for a few weeks, I can say that this thing is really designed to be hung on the wall. Yes, it comes with a stand that works fine, but to be honest, this TV is at its best when you mount it flush against the wall. The design is super thin and it almost looks like you have a painting hanging on your wall. The included wall bracket is a nice bonus, because it makes mounting a breeze. What I also really like is the functionality for gamers. With a refresh rate of 144Hz and low input lag, you are assured of smooth images, especially with fast action games. The game mode ensures that you will not notice any delay between your controller and what you see on the screen. Gaming on this TV just feels wonderfully smooth and responsive. Then something simple, but important: the remote control. It feels really solid and is big enough that you don't have to get up from the couch every time to check where it has gone. It's just a nice, high-quality remote control that you can comfortably hold. The speakers of this TV are a bit disappointing. They do their job, but for films or games you just miss that extra punch in the sound. A soundbar is not an unnecessary luxury, especially if you like full and deep sound. Also the cursor function... yes, I still don't get that. I still haven't figured out why it should be useful, and to be honest I just find it inconvenient that it sometimes appears on the screen at all times. What I do really like is the LG ThinQ app. You can really do everything with that app. From operating the TV to setting up smart devices in the home, it just works well and intuitively. It gives you that extra bit of control, without having to always reach for the remote control. The LG G4 OLED is really a top TV, especially if you hang it on the wall and like gaming. The image is fantastic, and the user-friendly LG ThinQ app completes the picture. But do expect that you'll be buying a soundbar and will probably find the cursor function as annoying as I do.
