Second Chance Philips 5000 Series HU5710/03

I myself quickly suffer from dry air in the winter. This leads to static air, but also to a dry throat, coughing and poor sleep. That is why I participated in a test panel where I was allowed to test the Philips air purifier HU5710/03 with Nanotechnology for a number of weeks.

Installing the Air+ app is user-friendly. The air purifier easily connects to your phone and the Wi-Fi. The app provides information about the humidity in your place of residence and in your immediate vicinity. The device adapts to the set desired humidity. You can control the humidity, the color, night mode (actually all the options that the device has) via the app. The air humidifier can be set in multiple, soft colors. You do not press the buttons but tap them gently.

I added aroma to the special container, but I did not really smell this. The device must be cleaned weekly and the filter must be replaced regularly. The app also indicates when this should be done. I saw that the filters are quite expensive, so this could be a reason not to buy the device. What I do find a disadvantage is that the filter needs to be cleaned weekly. For one cleaning you have to soak for an hour in white vinegar, for example.

Furthermore, the device is beautiful in design, a bit larger than expected, but you get used to it quickly. Without water, the device is light. The app does not keep track of how full the reservoir is. You have to keep a close eye on it yourself and refill it daily. A lot of water goes into the device.
I have a hygrometer at home and could see with it that the humidifier was doing its job. The indicated humidity on the hygrometer and the humidifier often corresponded closely.

The device is extremely pleasing. I have used it with pleasure and good effect. With one push of a button it is on and with another button in sleep mode, in which it produces less light. I have not had any problems with my dry cough and stuffy nose, since I have been using it. I also woke up more rested and energetic. Works perfectly with the app and very easy to use. The device was in my bedroom. Very satisfied!

The Philips Humidifier HU5710/03 is a valuable addition to my household. The ease of use is exceptional; the device is easy to install and operate. Thanks to the built-in app control, I can precisely control the humidity in my home, even when I am not at home. The effectiveness is excellent: within a few hours I notice that the air feels more pleasant and less dry. I have used this in addition to an electric Kagel, which makes the air in my home dry. This humidifier keeps the air at an excellent humidity level. What makes this humidifier unique are the extra features such as the aromatherapy function and the soft mood lighting option, which provide a soothing environment. The innovative nano-cloud technology distributes moisture evenly and prevents white dust formation.
