Second Chance iRobot Roomba Combo 10 Max

I was able to test the Roomba 10 and my experience is largely positive. The installation via the app went smoothly, although a paper manual for less technical users would have been nice. The cleaning quality is excellent, both on hard floors and on the deep pile carpet and the mat at the front door. Unfortunately, it makes quite a bit of noise while vacuuming, which is less pleasant when you are at home, especially since it takes more than an hour to do it. The drying process of the mop pad is also disappointing; it takes a long time and is quite noisy. A plus is that setting different cleaning zones is simple and quick, which is nice for daily use.

I was very curious about this combi robot. We have the vacuum cleaner and the mop robot from the same brand and are very satisfied with them, but they are still 2 separate, quite large devices in your living room.
1 device is great!! The new functions, for example, self-cleaning, appealed to me before testing, but they are a bit disappointing, you still have to clean yourself, because it doesn't get really clean. And the waste water that is collected in the reservoir really stinks and you have to replace it faster than the device indicates because otherwise you get odors in your house.
I find this one much quieter and that is very nice, only moving the dust from the robot to the collection bag makes noise and takes a while, but during vacuuming and mopping I find it very quiet!!
The floor is cleaned well, dust-free and mopped.
But sometimes it goes a bit illogically through the room. This also gives the idea that it has not been everywhere.

Vacuuming and mopping also not in a logical order, which sometimes makes him vacuum through wet areas.
All in all I would not recommend this but rather 2 separate units of the same brand!!

The device was very easy to install using the app. Because the docking station is very large, it took some time to find a suitable spot.

The robot had explored my apartment in no time and created a largely correct floor plan. This robot does an excellent job of vacuuming and mopping on a hard floor, which saves me a lot of time. In the beginning, the robot skips a few parts, but the more often you let it perform a task, the better it gets. The floor plan is also constantly updated and is now completely correct. In the beginning, the robot had a hard time with a high-pile rug in my living room, it had difficulty getting on it and got stuck, but after a few times this is already a lot better.

The app is very clear, you can quickly start a language and set a schedule. It works perfectly with Google Home, so you can start your task without opening the app. In the app you will also find a lot of information about the status and lifespan of the robot and the parts.

I was able to test the robot for a few weeks and I really liked it.
