Second Chance Magimix Nespresso Vertuo Pop Mango Dream

This is not the first Nespresso Vertuo I test. The Nespresso Vertuo Deluxe and Next have already passed through my hands before. When I compare these machines, the Nespresso Vertuo Pop is the smallest of them all. I'm curious what the machine has in store.

Colorful design in a small jacket
The coffee maker is available in different colors, which makes it very striking. It also consists of 35% recycled plastic. Well worth mentioning. What I really like is that the device takes up little space. The water tank is compact and hidden behind the machine. So this is out of sight. I remove the water reservoir very easily and put it back on again. You will hear a click when it is seated correctly. The disadvantage of the small water reservoir is that you can refill it quickly.

Welcome pack with all kinds of flavors
The box contains a welcome pack with 12 different Vertuo coffee cups. Because of this I immediately make a cup of coffee and immediately find out which formats there are and which
flavors I like.

From an espresso to a mug
Unlike all other Nespresso Vertuo's, this coffee machine only makes 4 different sizes of coffee. For example, cups fit for an espresso, a double espresso, a gran lungo and a mug. So you have the choice of a small cup, but also a mug of coffee. I find these sizes more than enough, because I don't drink larger than 230 milliliters in one sitting. Remove the drip tray from the machine, so that you can place a larger mug underneath. When I put a cup in the coffee machine, the machine scans the barcode on the cup. This way it knows exactly how much water is needed for the right proportion of coffee. The machine makes quite a bit of noise during the brewing process, because you can hear the capsule spinning quickly. As a result, there is a thick crema layer on the coffee.

Connect via Bluetooth
I connect the Vertuo Pop via bluetooth with the Nespresso app. Because of this, I receive notifications to fix problems and error messages. I also get help with maintenance. Think of rinsing and descaling the appliance.

I have been using this machine for several weeks now and it is a real eye-catcher on my countertop. The cups are available in various strengths and flavors, so there is something for everyone. The only disadvantage is that they are only available online. The machine is also small and compact. This also applies to the reservoir, which means that you have to refill the machine more often. Furthermore, this machine makes delicious coffee and I am full of praise for it.
