JBL Tune Flex 2 Black

The JBL Tune Flex 2 is a great addition to the world of wireless earbuds, offering both performance and comfort. The design is modern and sleek, with a lightweight construction that allows you to wear them for hours without discomfort. The Tune Flex 2 also performs well in terms of sound. It is ideal for music lovers who enjoy a solid beat. The battery life is good; on a full charge I can listen for about 25 hours with the charging case. Since I travel a lot on public transport, this is nice, but I find the battery life a bit disappointing. The touch controls are handy, allowing you to easily skip tracks or adjust the volume. The noise-cancelling function is a welcome addition.

In short: not what I'm used to from JBL. That in-ears are not suitable for everyone is a given. However, these earphones do not fit well in my ears (and those of my partner). I had hoped that, because I do not like the fixed gels in my ear canal, these would fit more like regular earphones. But these are much too big to stay in place safely. They do have the option to work with gels, which also has additional advantages, but comfort is more important to me. The set has nice functions such as spatial sound, ANC (which only works reasonably well with the gels) and a good battery life. I have not really experienced what is specified on the box, but I can get through the day with them and that is the most important thing. If I do not have them in, they are in the box anyway, so they are always recharged a little. The sound quality is not what I am used to from JBL, but that also has to do with the fit. There is a lot of loss due to sound that slips away. The box is small, unlike other JBL sets and that is a huge plus! They fit neatly in your pocket and the flat side on one side ensures a pleasant experience. One point of criticism: when I had not yet fully adjusted the earphones and was fiddling to get the fit right, a deafeningly loud chirp sounded in the left earphone that bothered me all evening. My partner at 3 meters away could also hear this loud and clear. Fortunately that only happened once.
