Great laptop if it had an IPS screen, as described. But it is absolutely a TN panel with mediocre colors and very bad vertical viewing angle. Asus does state on their site that only the more expensive models have an IPS screen but is vague about what screen this i3 has. And then you go from 5 to a maximum of 3 stars as far as I'm concerned.

After installation it was noticed that the screen has a very bad viewing angle and texts are difficult to read. We have 4 Asus laptops at home that we all like very much. Only this one is disappointing and will therefore be returned. Was always a fan of Asus. Hope this is a one-off. A friendly ICT specialist also looked at it and could not do anything with it either. So tomorrow I will return it to the post.nl point. Which is very easy at Coolblue.

Selected this laptop for my children. Considering the reliability and the military test passed. Unfortunately, after about 5 minutes the fan starts to run and keeps doing so. This makes the laptop very noisy and the battery life suffers as a result. Within 2 hours the battery was empty with simple browsing and word processing. I had bought 3, but they are going back.
