Nice cool box. Finally a box with a cool look. Top for Coolblue: also sell the Domestic stool to put the cool box on. Now I had to order this from another store.

The Dometic CFX 40 promises adventurous cooling with a robust construction, a spacious interior and convenient controls. Unfortunately, my experience with this cooler proved mixed. Positive points: Excellent cooling: The CFX 40 cools surprisingly quickly and effectively, even at high temperatures. Perfect for travelling, festivals or warm summer days. Spacious interior: With a 40 liter capacity, there is enough room for food and drinks for a few days. Ideal for families, picnics or long road trips. Robust construction: The cool box is made of high-quality materials and can withstand a blow. Handy for outdoor adventures or in the car. User-friendly display: The digital display is easy to operate and provides clear information about the temperature. Negative points: Defective 12V connection: A major stumbling block was the defective 12V connection on my copy. This meant that the cool box could not be used in the car, which is a major limitation for mobility. Poor build quality 12V cable: The included 12V cable felt cheap and did not seem to be of high quality. You can expect more from a cool box in this price range. Conclusion: The Dometic CFX 40 excels in cooling performance, but the defective 12V connection is a significant drawback. If the 12V connection does not work when you purchase it, I will be worried about future problems with this cool box. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this cool box with confidence.

Dometic CFX 40: Beautiful design, disappointing functionality At first glance, the Dometic CFX 40 looks like a dream for outdoor enthusiasts and campers: a compact cool box with a stylish design and advanced cooling technology. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be less rosy. The biggest stumbling block was the defective 12V connection. Despite repeated attempts on several vehicles, the cooler refused to work on 12V. This makes it unusable during camping trips or road trips, where 230V connections are not always available. In addition to the defective 12V connection, the overall quality of the cool box was disappointing. The plastic construction felt fragile and the hinges looked cheap. Considering the high price of the CFX 40, I expected a sturdier construction and better finish. Although the cooling performance was satisfactory, it could not justify the high price and the defects. Conclusion: The Dometic CFX 40 has potential, but fails to deliver a reliable and high-quality product. The defective 12V connection and poor build quality make it a disappointing investment for the price. Alternatives: Given the shortcomings of the CFX 40, I recommend considering other coolers on the market. There are various models with better price-quality ratios and more reliable 12V connections.
