Description

With the Alecto DVM-149, you can constantly stay in contact with your child. The baby monitor has a camera and a 4.3-inch color screen. So you can let your child sleep in their room without having to worry, while doing some chores around the house. With 8 lullabies and two-way audio, you can soothe your child without having to go to the room. Thanks to the VOX function, the parent unit switches on when your child makes a sound. As a result, the parent unit lasts up to 10 hours. This means that you don't need a charger at night. And with the infrared camera, you can clearly see your child at night s well. Decent picture, good sound but too loud.

The image quality of the camera is not very good but good enough for the purpose and to be expected for a product in this price range. The sound quality is very good. However, the difference between the highest and lowest volume level is very small, and for us the lowest level is still way too loud (if our daughter is chatting in bed, which she does quite loudly, we can't hear the TV properly). The connection also occasionally drops, with a very loud beep that cannot be turned down or turned off. What is also striking is that at twilight the camera does not know whether the IR lighting should be turned on or off, so it keeps turning on and off until it is dark enough.

A great baby monitor for the lower price.

  • Good range
  • The screen will not turn off by itself after a few seconds. This takes at least 5 minutes.

I like the baby monitor. It's simpler than our other baby monitors, but you pay less for it.
