The KEF LS50 Wireless II is a set of WiFi speakers with hi-fi sound. Whenever I play music, I am impressed by the sound every time. Only the operation of the speakers does not work flawlessly. Impressive listening experience Playing my favorite music has never been more fun than with these speakers. I find it bizarre how detailed all the low, mid and high tones sound. Even with music driven by the low tones, I can still hear details from the high frequencies. A thick bass guitar does not take over and still sounds very powerful. I listen to a wide range of genres, from jazz to dance and from rock to classical. Immersive Movie Sound I connect the speakers to my television via the aux connection. Aux is one of many ways to link the speakers to a playback device. I turn on my favorite Netflix series on the TV and the speakers provide an extra intense viewing experience. I experience battles on the edge of my seat and in an exciting conversation, voices sound flawless. Extensive app In the KEF Connect app I adjust the setting of the speakers to my wishes. For example, I change the balance between the left and right speaker and I adjust the sound via an equalizer. In addition to changing the settings, I can use all kinds of streaming services in no time. Now I have all my online music libraries in one handy overview. Operation not flawless When I stream music via Apple AirPlay 2, it doesn't quite work the way I want. Fast forwarding a song is slow and the volume changes too. In addition, the touch-sensitive buttons on the main speaker do not always respond to my touches.

These speakers replace my Sonos play:5. The KEF gives, even at high volume, a clean and beautiful sound without it being 'messy'. It has optical, coax, tulip and HDMI in and various streaming audio providers. If you play on the KEFs via AirPlay, you can also take your Sonos with you in the group. With direct playback, you cannot play in a group with Sonos. You have to manually select audio sources, and what's missing is a pause-play button on the KEF. The difference in quality between Sonos and KEF is obvious. While Sonos sounds good, it's no match for the KEF.

Really Kef, not quickly intrusive, but pleasantly present. A relief as a "sound bar" for TV. But mostly listening to music. This is the reason for the purchase and has not been disappointed for a moment.
