After many years of using my phone as a camera and sometimes a compact camera, I now have this camera. It was important that he could shoot quickly and easily post on social media. That is certainly possible with this camera. The recordings are very clear and sharp, better than the phone.

The camera does not seem suitable for inexperienced users at first. It certainly takes some basic knowledge to properly utilize the capabilities of this device. Menu structure is clear, short explanation of the functions ensures user-friendliness. The setting options are very extensive. The menu structure is very extensive, it takes a while before you know where everything is, but it is logically arranged. Connecting to Wi-Fi is easy, streaming to TV is nice to immediately show your photos. The fast autofocus is really impressive, running kids, moving pets, etc. are razor sharp. I believe the tracking is done within 0.02s. Filming in 4K is very cool, so incredibly sharp. Camera is handy, nice size to take with you. The camera is too expensive to put it in your coat just like that. That is also the only drawback, the hefty price.

I bought this one first because it was within my budget. I liked the color photos and the user-friendliness of the menu. Only because of the small grip I got cramp in my hand quite quickly (within 15 minutes) when taking photos. It is not comfortable to hold at all. I wanted to take nature photos and the 16-50mm lens is also somewhat limited in terms of zooming in. I returned the camera because of the poor grip and the cramp I got because of it. After some searching I went for the Canon R10 with 50mm lens and I am much happier with it. It has a larger and more comfortable grip and even more options than this Sony. It is a bit more expensive. But it is much more comfortable in the hand. You don't want to drop the camera. The viewfinder of the R10 is also much nicer with glasses than this Sony A6100. I am going to save up for a zoom lens. The advantage of the Sony was that there was more lens supply for cheaper prices. But still I advise against the sony from my experience. Lenses are still being made. I would look further than this sony a6100. Even though it is one of the cheapest. Then save up a bit longer.
