Undoubtedly, the 700 is the best. However, given the relatively large price difference and the also very good Bose Bass module 500, I chose the 500 myself. The 500 is certainly sufficient for a good surround, even in our fairly large living room (80 m²). Moreover, you can place it in your TV furniture without any problems, without resonance in or around the furniture, the small size is also a plus.

I have the Bose Bass Module 500 together with the Bose Soundbar 500. The Bass module is quite compact, but as usual with Bose, it has a nice deep sound. Without the Bass module, I don't think the product is complete enough. Installation of the Bass module is easy via the Bose Music app. It is then quite easy to switch the module on and off in the app, such as in the evenings. However, you immediately miss the heavy sound that comes out. Because the unit is wireless, you can easily determine where you want to place the module in the living room. Thanks to the compact design, there is always somewhere to put it.
