The reciprocating saw has 2 settings, one for wood and one for metal, so you can work precisely on both materials. Wooden beams, branches, or slats of over 25cm are no problem for the DJR187ZK. If you want to cross-cut metal tubes, bars, or pipes, you can do this with a width of up to 13cm. You can easily switch saw blades with one hand thanks to a useful click system, so you always have on hand to hold your project. This reciprocating saw is a part of the Makita LXT 18V battery platform. Do you have a battery of the same brand and of the same battery platform? You can also use it on this battery-powered tool.

Bought this saw without batteries because I already had 3 pieces of batteries from Makita Cordless Drill and Cordless Impact Wrench. This reciprocating saw is a very versatile tool for (professional) do-it-yourselfers.
