I like to use a dashcam when I go out in the car, so that I have evidence in the event of an accident. The Nordväl DC202-2CH captures my car journey clearly. The box contains both a front and rear camera. Handy, because I can also capture a pile-up through my rear window, for example. I attach the cameras to my car windows with little effort. They both have an adhesive strip, which keeps them firmly on the window. I stick the front camera behind my rear view mirror. It doesn't get in the way while driving. When I get out, I easily slide the dashcam out of the holder and take it with me.

Image quality When I film with the dashcam during the day, the images look clear and sharp. License plates and signs are easy to read, even on the images from the rear camera. In the dark I find the image quality of the rear camera slightly less good. I go out on the road in the evening while it is raining. With the front camera the images still look sharp, but the images with the rear camera are a bit disappointing. I hardly recognize letters and numbers on license plates anymore. My car does not have rear windshield wipers, so the raindrops on my window cause blurry, unclear images. If your car has windshield wipers on the rear window, you will have less trouble with this.

Ease of use I start my car and the dashcam immediately starts recording. I like that when I'm in a hurry, because I drive away straight away. I store my images on the supplied micro SD card. This is included in the box as standard, so I don't have to buy a micro SD card separately. While driving I operate the dashcam with my voice. I shout 'stop recording' and the dashcam stops recording, for example when I am parked for a while. As I continue driving, I say 'start recording'. I like this function because the dashcam does not have a touchscreen. However, voice control does not always work well. Sometimes I shout a few times before the dashcam listens. I can also easily operate the dashcam via the app. Here I adjust all the settings for my recording, such as the image quality. The app connects quickly to the dashcam and I can view my images anywhere.
