According to our drone expert
You can easily make professional videos with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine Premium Combo, for commercial use for example. The drone also supports the Apple ProRes 422 HQ file format. This allows you to capture many details and realistic colors. You can accurately edit the color and lighting later. Thanks to the built-in 1TB hard drive, you can store all your images in a high quality. On it, there's space for a couple of hours of recordings. You also receive the DJI RC Pro remote, with which you have a large range and a stable connection. This way, you can fly far without losing the connection.
Image qualityThe DJI Mavic 3 has 3 cameras. WIth the Hasselblad camera you can capture wide landscapes, thanks to the wide image angle. It has a focal length that's equal to 24mm on a full-frame camera. The 2 cameras with zoom lenses have focal lengths of 70 and 166mm. This allows you to take photos of far-away subjects and small details. Tap the screen to easily switch between cameras. You film in 4K resolution with 60 fps. That provides sharper images which you can later slow them down to slow motion videos.
Flight timeWith a fully charged battery, you can fly for 43 minutes. You receive 2 extra batteries, which extend the flight time with 86 minutes. The drone has obstacle detection sensors on all sides. This way, you can fly without worries. The sensors recognize obstacles on all sides and flies around them automatically. This reduces the risk of a collision. The drone makes cinematic recordings with the MasterShots function, when it flies a circle around a subject for example.
Laws and regulationsFrom 2021, new European drone regulations apply. This means that drone pilots must register themselves if they own a drone that weighs more than 250g or has a camera. They'll receive an operating number that needs to be attached on your drone and clearly visible. This drone has a C2 label and flies in the open A2 category. This means you need a basic drone course for this. You also have to fly at least 30m away from people.

The drone is easy to handle for a beginner. There are quite a few instructional videos available. Ascent and descent is very smooth. Even with quite a bit of wind, the drone is stable and the shots are clear and absolutely not jerky. Tip: before installation, read the instructions carefully and watch unboxing videos. Note the small stickers on the front sensors. If you don't remove this you will have problems with the calibration.

without sales it is better to go for the Platinum version. It flies 3 minutes longer and makes less noise. But in January you get a lot of bang for your buck with this offer; beautiful photos from otherwise impossible perspective. Stable video. If you don't do anything on controller, it will stay where it is. The gimbal is mechanical, but functions very well. You could also use it as a camera with super batteries, without flying.
