This Asus Vivobook is nice and fast for daily tasks with a Ryzen 7 and 16GB RAM. I have not yet tried more demanding programs for photo editing, for example. The laptop is solidly constructed, so far I haven't heard any creaking noises from cheap plastic and the hinge of the screen also seems sturdy. This version of the Vivobook is really 'basic'. There are no nice extras such as a backlit keyboard or fingerprint scanner to log in quickly. You get an old-fashioned charging cable that does not have a USB C connector. By the way, this laptop only comes with 1 USB C port, and in addition 3 USB A ports. You also cannot connect an internet cable, which caused me problems when installing Windows (fortunately solved thanks to Coolblue customer service).
