Description

The Epson EcoTank ET-4850 is the affordable printing solution for a busy household and small offices. You can scan, copy, automatically print in duplex, and fax with this 4-in-1 EcoTank printer. No more empty cartridges, as you can refill the EcoTank with ink from a bottle. With one set of ink bottles, you can print up to 7500 pages in black and white and 6000 pages in color. The paper tray has space for 250 sheets of paper. And the automatic document feeder has space for 30 pages. You can connect the printer via Ethernet, WiFi, or WiFi Direct. This way, you can also use the printer in locations without a wireless network. You can control the printer via the Epson Smart Panel app or via the color touchscreen.

Valuable addition / replacement laser printer(s)!

  • Very good text printing: both B/W and color.
  • Good illustrative photo prints on plain paper; also in color.
  • Satisfied with the immediate start-up and the print speed, also recto/verso.
  • Take into account a rather greedy ink absorption during the first use (filling systems).

-Because of the qualities already listed, I really like this printer! - The better gray and color nuances compared to lasers are also nice for technical documentary prints. -Important is the 100% print both in length and width, which is often problematic with lasers (eg with technical drawings). -The rather expensive purchase price must normally be compensated / made up for / rewarded in the long run by the 4 refillable ink tanks: from now on no more throwing away expensive half-full tri-cassettes because 'yellow' has run out! -It is also advantageous that monochrome ("grayscale") printing can be chosen: so no expensive 'color-black'!
