Description

The DJI Avata is a very light and agile FPV drone, which you can use inside and outside. It has protective borders around the propellers that improve the airflow along the propellers. This allows it to fly better. The propeller guards are also useful when you're flying in a room or area with a lot of obstacles. With a fully charged battery, you can fly up to 18 minutes in hovering mode. If you fly with it, the battery will drain faster. The drone can reach a speed of 97.2km/h in manual mode. Your footage looks stable thanks to the electronic RockSteady image stabilization. The camera records in 4K with 60 fps. If you want to record beautiful slow motion images, choose Full HD with 120 fps.

Beautiful experience but very noisy

The goggles and the motion controller provide a cool experience and ensure that you can take beautiful images. You do not have many of the options of the other drones, such as a circle to create an object, etc. For me, the noise level of the Avata is a showstopper. You can hear it 200m further and that is not always desirable. However, you can also use the goggles and the motion controller to control other drones such as the DJI Mini 3 (not yet 4). You can no longer hear this drone at a distance of 10 meters and I had to buy one as well.

  • Integra is much better than V2 goggle, OLED is super and is more comfortable on the face
  • Quickly deployable, and you can clean it up quickly

Been flying for years, DIY drone is fun just that hassle with those lipos and chargers. That's why I went for Avata. You can safely charge things and because everything is small, it is easy to take with you.
