Case Logic DCB-304K Luxe Zoom

I just bought a bridge camera because I don't want to carry a whole load of luggage and still want to take good pictures. This bag meets this requirement perfectly, as the camera fits nicely in it so that it is securely held. In the top cover is a handy mini storage compartment, and on both sides there are two small spaces where an extra battery or even the compact camera of the children (just) fits. I sometimes took my (old) analog SLR "bare" with me (without a bag) because I found this more convenient. I was planning to do the same with this camera (FZ200), but due to the fact that the bag fits like a glove around the camera, it really doesn't matter whether I take the camera alone or in the bag. A very nice "package recommendation" from CB!

A nice compact bag, originally bought for the Nikon Coolpix P610. I now have a P900, although this bag is also advertised for that device, I would not recommend it. No problem with the length of the lens, but with the body of the device, it fits but it's a mess.

On the road I have my camera ready to shoot on a backpack strap, or dangling from my hand with a handgrip (both solutions from B-Grip: recommended!). This bag is not intended for that - with the zipper in the flap it takes me too long to get the camera ready. It is therefore not an ever-ready bag (do they actually still exist?) But it's fine for what I bought this bag for: for protection between the luggage in a suitcase or backpack, or lying loose next to me in the car! In addition, there is separate space (two zip pockets) for batteries, memory cards or other smaller accessories. The bag is of excellent quality (I still have two case logic bags), is well padded and fits closely around the camera (Sony DSC HX400V). This way it can take a beating and stays beautiful for longer (especially important for the LCD screen). So it does exactly what I expect it to do. A fine bag.
