Dyson V15 Detect Absolute

The v15 now in use together with the previously purchased V12: It is slightly larger, slightly more powerful, slightly more luxurious. The biggest difference is the on-off switch: with the prima V12, this is a button on top of the air filter, which you do not have to hold down, while with the V15 this is a push button in the handle. This doesn't work less or harder by the way. What is also striking is that the vacuum cleaners are available at CoolBlue, but not the extra (useful) (spare) parts such as the luminous crevice tool. This should actually be included in the V15 package, since this is the top model and luminous vacuuming is precisely such an innovative and satisfying experience: a clean floor is suddenly quite dusty, and this is especially nice for allergy-sensitive people. set. After each turn, look with satisfaction at what dust is still in the plastic waste bag. With the V12, after cleaning the air filter a few times, I have already found that the filter is increasingly full as a result, so you need an extra filter to change, while the one that has just been cleaned is drying. This will be no different with the V15. Dyson itself gives the tip to also 'brush out' this filter in between to extend the lifespan. This sounds plausible. Small downside is that eg the V15 and the V12 are not the same but have filters and mouthpieces for parts, partly due to the size. This is also not quite right: everything could be the same from the engine.

Not really usable on deep pile carpet. Dyson customer service indicates that the vacuum cleaner was not developed for that. A suction nozzle without a motor roller is not included, but would not work either, according to Dyson. I am considering returning the vacuum cleaner.

After having a Rowenta 15.60 (recent model), I switched to Dyson. The first thing that strikes me is that the weight is manageable and that the design is progressive. The vacuum cleaner is manoeuvrable, and logically I use it. Suction power is sufficient and automatically adjusts to the dirtiness of the floor. The laser is super handy, especially in the dark, although the number of dust particles almost makes you panic. Even if you have just completed a room, you tend to redo certain parts. The build quality is really substandard, what a plastic ... while vacuuming it rattles on all sides, there is play in the rod and especially if you use the flexible attachment, then no thought has been given to the sturdiness. The laser head is also not exactly solid, especially over certain surfaces, it does not go well on the floor. Finally.. I wonder how long the construction for emptying the collection bin will last. Another disadvantage is that you have to hold down the on button. You would actually want the combination of the V12 and the V15. Then the battery life; this one is fine. I can easily vacuum 100m2 with it and then I still have fifteen minutes left. All in all, definitely not worth the money, but through conversation with the better, will still prefer this anyway. The Rowenta 15.60 is really much firmer, but also heavier and it has a lot of teething problems. Hence the V15.
