Dyson Outsize Absolute

After years of experience with a Dyson DC08 vacuum cleaner and a handheld vacuum cleaner DC30, we were ready for a new device. I initially planned to choose a corded Dyson vacuum cleaner again because I had some questions about the battery capacity of the cordless models. However, after reading some reviews I decided to take the plunge. The choice for the Dyson Outsize Absolute type came about because we have quite a few large spaces to vacuum and the larger reservoir would come in handy here. In addition, this type contains a 2nd battery in the package (with extra charger) as standard, so that you can vacuum for up to one and a half hours in the medium setting. On the Coolblue site, the number of batteries states "1", but these are "2" (tip for Coolblue to adjust this). For me this was an important point to know whether or not a spare battery was present, because the purchase of an extra battery is not cheap. I haven't bought the device that long, but the experience so far has been only positive! Very good cleaning results; the sound is not that bad (in eco or medium setting); the green laser light to help detect dirt is impressively good; with the many included accessories you can tackle most jobs without any problems. Only it would have been useful to include the accessory "low reach adapter" as standard in the package. This allows you to effortlessly vacuum under beds, coffee tables, etc. If you don't have this, this becomes more difficult because you can't lay the handle completely horizontal because the collector (especially with the Outsize model) is a bit wider and is therefore in the way. With the hinged accessory you don't have to worry about that anymore. In terms of ease of use (having to continuously press the button while sucking), this is not so bad. It is not at all a nuisance to have to hold that button. Emptying the reservoir is also a piece of cake. It can also serve as a handheld vacuum, although this will be a rather large device, but it is possible. You do need some space to store all the accessories. You can click the 2 most used ones on the charging station and 2 attachments can also be clicked on an adapter on the stem. As a charging station, there is also an accessory (not included as standard!) where you can attach the device in a free-standing metal holder. You can then place it wherever you want (you just need to have a socket nearby). This is useful if you do not immediately have a place in the house where you can hang the standard charging console on the wall. In short, very satisfied with the purchase of our latest Dyson and highly recommended, even for large jobs!

I can vacuum the entire house (including seats and carpets) in one go without worry. I don't have to empty the reservoir during the cleaning as it is so big. Thanks to the second battery and the excellent battery life of one battery, I don't have to stop to recharge. For large spaces, the larger attachment means I'm done faster. In other areas, it's fun and satisfying to vacuum with the laser. I no longer look up to vacuuming and that is definitely worth the money!

Had a dyson before. Very doubted because it was "on" by 2 years. Now that there is a replaceable battery, chose dyson again
