De'Longhi La Specialista Prestigio EC9355.M

I've had the machine for a week now, and I'm really impressed! I was looking for an espresso machine with a good steam nozzle but also a built-in grinder, and with that I really found my match. The steam nozzle makes beautifully glossy microfoam, as if you were working with a professional device. The built-in tamper works fine, although the handle doesn't feel very robust (and I now tamp 2x on the recommendation of the manual). It takes some figuring out in terms of grinding degree and dose until you have found the right combination, but with the help of the pressure gauge you can quickly see whether you need to adjust something.

Look before you leap. It's definitely NOT the machine; so most likely me (I'm not a Barista), but I can't get the coffee to taste good. In terms of looks, the machine is an asset to the kitchen and feels solid, but I long for my fully automatic machine!

This is already my 2nd device (this is a new one)... The previous one was repaired and was eventually refunded. It is identically the same defect, namely that the bean grinder no longer works (also the bean container light does not indicate that there are no more beans in the container). Last time I had to wait a little over a month to finally get a refund (because it couldn't be repaired). Hopefully it won't take that long this time.
