The OPPO Find X3 Neo is a sleek powerhouse that I can fully charge within 40 minutes. The layout and design of the operating system take some getting used to. Sleek design, large device I have the silver version of the Find X3 Neo. The back constantly changes color depending on the incidence of light. For example, the smartphone has a matte, blue glow from one angle, but from other angles the back looks yellow, red or purple. I personally think this is very beautiful, but that is of course a matter of taste. The smartphone is also quite large, which makes it difficult for me to operate the device with one hand. Lightning fast charging When unpacking, I was amazed at the size of the included charger. While charging, it turns out that bigger is better in this case. The charger charges this device from 0 to 100% within 40 minutes. I only need 10 minutes for the first 50%. I use the device with medium intensity. This means that I do a lot of whatsapp, regularly scroll through my social media and occasionally watch a video and listen to a podcast. With this use, the OPPO Find X3 Neo lasts about a day. Thanks to the fast charging, it doesn't really matter to me if the battery runs out a little faster. Great computing power I have little to say about the computing power of the Find X3 Neo. The smartphone runs very smoothly. The device also has no trouble with heavy apps such as Photoshop or the 3D game PUBG. I didn't see any hiccups during testing. Sharp photos, lesser videos With the extensive camera setup of the Find X3 Neo, I can go in all directions in terms of photography. The standard lens takes sharp photos both during the day and at night. I use the wide-angle lens to fully capture large buildings. With the telephoto lens I zoom in up to 3 times without my photos becoming less sharp. The videos are sharp, but I do notice that the images are quite choppy. Get used to operating system Like all other brands, OPPO pours its own sauce over the Android operating system. In the case of OPPO, this sauce is quite present, so I had to get used to the operating system. OPPO uses many colors and the menu structures are also different than I am used to from other smartphones. After a few days I hardly notice it anymore. This is also because I can completely adjust the layout to my own liking. For example, I change the shape of icons and the colors.

I was able to test the Oppo Find X3 Neo for a few weeks to see how it works. I had just completed a photography course and was curious if I could apply my acquired knowledge with this device. I have to say that I am very impressed with the very extensive possibilities that the Oppo offers. Even if you haven't taken a photography course, you can take the most beautiful photos and videos with this, I'm impressed! With 5 different cameras and various Shooting Modes on board, you have the right companion for every situation. I like to take pictures when I'm on my bike or when I'm walking and it's nice that you can choose from, for example, the macro lens or the ultra wide-angle camera. The Ultra Night Mode also makes me very happy! This is the first time I don't have dark, blurry photos when shooting in the twilight/dark. What a great addition! Due to the large working memory (12GB RAM!) Multitasking is not ONLY a problem for the Oppo. You tap, it opens. You type, he goes. What a relief compared to my current device of more than 4 years old. The battery life is perhaps something that surprised me the most, in addition to all the other extensive options. I do an average of 36-38 hours with one full battery, with intensive use (read: testing, testing, testing ;)). No more stressing about an empty phone while walking or cycling or that the phone cuts out at night and the alarm doesn't go off (I don't like to leave the phone on the charger all night when I go to sleep). That is why I find the 'optimized night charging' option on this device a pleasant addition: it regulates the charging speed during the night so that overcharging can be prevented. That gives a peace of mind, for the occasional time that I have to charge the phone overnight. Furthermore, the device has a handy size. With a ring glued to the back of the protective cover, it is slightly easier to handle with one hand (more grip). Sleek design, amazing color (Galactic Silver) and there is also a very pleasant sound from the Dual Stereo Speakers. All in all, definitely recommended for the (amateur) photographer who likes to shoot beautiful pictures.

Phone is definitely recommended why; I have had the S20 FE and the S21 before and this Oppo can handle them with ease and even better, better to read outdoors, faster, better in the hand and compared to the mentioned phones and the iPhone 12 pro to my opinion better photos. The only downside I could find is that the Oppo does not support wireless charging, but when you see how fast it charges wired, it's not even as fast as it goes. Everything can be set up to your own taste with Color-os and I think most will like that, the layer on Android is minimal and very fast in my opinion. The WiFi and network speed also surprised me with this device. This is my first OPPO device for me. In short, a phone that, considering the price and specifications, is simply very good and can go well with the current top devices, and I base this on my own experiences and not looking at test results on the internet.
