The polycarbonate back and rubber edges combine to form a sturdy case. My smartphone is a bit thicker due to the sturdy edges, but I don't find it disturbing. In addition, the thick edges also protect my screen. In addition, my cameras are protected on the back by the raised edges around the camera island. With this case I can safely take my expensive iPhone out the door. Tough material The material feels nice and feels good in the hand. Thanks to the rubber edges you have extra grip. The back, on the other hand, does feel smooth, which makes it glide faster over my desk. It is a fairly 'basic' case in appearance. This is what I like about this back cover: it is not too noticeable. The back still looks completely intact, even though I often put my case in my bag with my sharp keys. So I expect this case to stay as new for a long time. Tight on your device The Otterbox Symmetry fits snugly around my iPhone. It fits nicely and my device doesn't just slip out of the case. It was therefore difficult to get my smartphone in the case. Fortunately, getting it out was a lot easier. I tested this case on the iPhone 11, but the Otterbox Symmetry is the same for other types of devices.
