The slowcooker doesn't have start delay, so it starts right away when you turn it on.

Description

With the Crock-Pot CR066 5.6L, you can make the tastiest dishes without having to work in the kitchen for hours. Want to enjoy a stew in the evening? Add the ingredients for your dish to the slowcooker in the morning and the appliance does all of the work. You simply select the setting and enter the weight of your ingredients. Finally, you indicate at what time you want the food to be ready. Once the slowcooker has finished cooking, it keeps the dish hot until everyone is seated at the table with the keep-warm function. After dinner, you can easily clean the individual parts of the slowcooker in the dishwasher.

I looked at slow cookers every winter, but never bought one. Until now. I use it a few times a week and I've never failed a dish, perfect pea soup, chicken stew tikka masala, beef stroganoff etc. It's great that you don't have to worry about it, prepare the most delicious dishes and in nice large quantities. You can then freeze some or of course make others happy with it too. It does not always have to be completely full, because you can adjust the program accordingly. 5.6 liters is a must if you want soup for 4-6 people, stews for 4-6 people. But this format is also fine if you want to make less.
