The Apex 5 has membrane keys with a tactile click, so you feel feedback when you press a key.
This complete keyboard with the numeric keypad is also suitable for work or school.
This keyboard doesn't have sensitive mechanical keys, so you can't perform in-game actions faster.
You have less freedom of movement with a wired keyboard, because you're always bound to a cable.

Description

With the SteelSeries Apex 5 Gaming Keyboard, you can adjust settings while gaming and register keystrokes quickly. This puts you ahead of the competition. This wired gaming keyboard has membrane keys with a tactile click, which allows you to feel feedback but not hear it when you press a key. The LCD screen shows you exactly what settings you're adjusting on your gaming keyboard. This is a complete gaming keyboard with a numeric keypad, so you can also use your gaming keyboard for other things than gaming. Connect this gaming keyboard with the USB-A cable. This means the keyboard is plug and play, so you can use it right away. You can adjust the RGB lighting yourself via the SteelSeries Engine software and choose between 16.8 million colors. That way, your gaming keyboard fits the rest of your setup.

The steelseries apex 5 keyboard is quite nice to play with, also for typing of course, The installation was quite simple and fast! The keys respond instantly and you don't have to press it deeply, The steelseries software has all kinds of lighting options for all keys (including per key!) and special effects, Only the only thing that bothers me is that it makes a lot of noise and it not suitable for gaming at night!
