According to our IP camera expert
The Eufy Indoor Cam 2K Pan & Tilt is a security camera that monitors the entire room indoors. The camera is a standalone model. This means you can use it without a Eufy HomeBase. The motion sensor makes the camera pan automatically, so you can see exactly what's going on. The footage has a 2K resolution. As a result, the footage is slightly sharper than Full HD footage. You can connect this camera to the Eufy app on your phone. In case of distinctive sounds or motion detection, you'll receive a message right away so you can see what's happening. Thanks to night vision, everything is also clearly visible in the dark. This camera is easy to set up. The camera works corded, so you never have to charge the battery. You can store footage on a microSD card, which isn't included. If you want cloud storage, you pay € 2.99 per month.
Note: this IP camera only works on 2.4GHz WiFi. Ensure your router has the right settings before you connect the camera to WiFi.

Great camera for the money. Please note that certain functionalities, such as pan and tilt, are disabled when you start using the home kit.

I use the Eufy Indoor Pan & Tilt as a babycam and it really works great. Mainly because it is integrated into Homekit (Apple). This means that the data can be stored in your iCloud subscription, or simply locally on an SD card. Many baby monitors have shady cloud services that you have to pay extra for each month to store data. In addition, many other baby monitors also have a lousy app. None of this for the Eufy Indoor Pan & Tilt cam. Good image quality and options within the Eufy app. Installation was also easy-peasy. For now we use it as a baby monitor, but when the kids are big enough it can immediately serve as a security camera, so great! The only (minor) downside is that the Pan & Tilt function cannot be used within the iOS Home app. For this you will need to open the Eufy app. However, I think this is more of a flaw of Apple's Home app, and not of the Eufy camera.

If the camera is connected to the network, then it's just a really good camera. However, the WiFi connection is just drama. The connection with the camera continuously collapsed, which also makes the camera worthless. And no, it's not my network. I even placed the camera next to my router, which didn't improve either. I then sent the camera back.
