You can shred 1 A4 paper to 421 shreds, so the paper shredder meets the DIN P-4 security requirements.
Thanks to the anti-jam technology, you won't get paper jams.
After 6 minutes of continuous shredding, the paper shredder needs to cool off.

Description

You can destroy confidential documents with the Leitz IQ Home Office P4. This paper shredder is especially suitable for home use. The IQ Home Office P4 complies with the DIN P-4 safety level, so it shreds an A4 into 412 unrestorable shreds. You can shred up to 10 documents at the same time, even if they contain stables and paper clips. Do you accidentally insert too many sheets? The anti-jam function pushes the paper back up automatically. You don't have to empty the container as often thanks to the paper capacity of 225 sheets. This model has a 55dB noise level, which is comparable to a running washing machine. You can shred documents for up to 6 minutes. The paper shredder has to cool down for 60 minutes after this.

Unnecessary stored and collected paper cleaned up. First had a somewhat cheaper paper shredder. Now I notice the difference and I know what I've been fiddling with in recent years. Good investment and very happy with it!

It does what it's supposed to do and it's sturdy. Certainly not too loud. Too bad you have a separate on/off switch and then another push button to turn it on. Only leaving the switch on ensures that a blue LED continues to flash non-stop, but the device does not yet work. Annoying when it's in your sight. When you turn it on with the push button, it stays on constantly. My 'old' device was always 'on', without unnecessary lights.
