Philips Grind & Brew HD7767/00

I had a fully automatic coffee machine. A large device with multiple possibilities. The best coffee, however, I found the regular simple coffee. The current device takes care of this. The big drawback is the sound. The intention is that I wake up from the coffee and not from the sound which is quite loud.

Experience is not good: quickly broken, to the repair (2 weeks without a device!), the problem remains, but it has to be repaired again (to be without again for 2 weeks and with no guarantee that it will be okay). Our last purchase of this type of device at CoolBlue!

The coffee maker has a beautiful appearance. Because beans are ground, you have to take the extra height into account. By grinding the beans, the typical coffee smell penetrates faster the kitchen/room. You have to make sure that you use the right type of beans. The wrong beans can damage your appliance. So no unroasted, espresso or caramelized beans. The device is easily adjustable with the rotary knobs, but it does take a while before you have the optimal grind and coffee strength for yourself. If you have the settings ready, the grinding and throughput time is quite short and you are quickly sipping coffee. I also did a test with ground coffee. This one went fine. Filling the water reservoir is a bit more difficult. This is due to the smaller filling opening (certainly compared to other devices) and the difficult to read filling indicator on which you can read the number of cups. An LED indicator would be easier. It is useful that the machine beeps when the coffee is ready. The beep is also displayed when the unit is turned off. This happens automatically so you can't forget it like with other devices. When cleaning the grinder, the appliance must be turned over to remove the coffee beans (the bean container must always be at least half full). Not an easy task for some people. It is noticeable that a lot of bean residue ends up in the filter after cleaning.
