With the version that is supplied, the center column (just like with the non-carbon version) can be removed, so that it can be turned around. Unfortunately, this version does not include the belt pouch that you can use in monopod mode. Instead, you get a rollei smartphone holder. I've been hesitating between this and the C5i. Glad that after looking at many reviews I finally took the traveler variant, given the advantage of the lower weight and smaller dimensions. Especially because the newer version is delivered, which is functionally largely identical to the C5i. The maximum height of 1.42m. is a bit lower, but with the camera on it is higher than it sounds. With the center column fully extended, the camera is less stable, but given my use and 'traveler properties' I take that for granted. Used with a system camera. Further: + Solid material + Best to set up quickly. - Shortcut has no click confirmation and is somewhat slower. - Monopod stand is quite short and the center column cannot be linked to get extra height.

A light tripod to easily take with you on a trip. Unfortunately, I returned this tripod twice because the attachment point of the lower sliding leg broke off within a very short time, leaving you with the tripod and a loose leg in your hands.
