The Sunred Spica 2000 Hanging - incl. LED light electric patio heater provides both heat and lighting. That's because there are small LED lights beneath the heating panel. You don't have to wait long to feel the heat, since the halogen lamp emits heat within 5 seconds. That's nice for when it's cold outside. The infrared element is hardly susceptible to the wind. It may loose some heat, but only if it's really windy. Check the manual to see where you can and can't mount the product.

A patio heater uses more power to start. This is called peak power. You can reduce this power with a soft starter, so it doesn't overload your electric circuit. That way, you won't blow your fuses. If you have a patio heater with multiple settings, set the heater to the lowest setting first for a lower peak power.
