The ordered Corsair DDR3 RAM expansion (2x8GB) for my 6 year old 27" 5K Retina iMac was delivered the next day by bicycle courier. Installation in my iMac was very easy. By adding the modules, the total working memory is now 24GB. performance gains are much greater than expected Not only does my iMac start up faster, but Apps run smoother and most notably, Safari loads web pages much faster, it's like having a new computer.
