According to our digital piano expert
Looking for a piano, but don't have the space required for a grand piano? In that case, the Yamaha P45 is for you. Thanks to the weighted hammer mechanism, this digital piano plays the same as an acoustic piano. Switch on Duo Mode if you want to play or practice together. This functions splits the keyboard into 2 parts, allowing you to play with 2 people at the same time. Thanks to the integrated speakers, the sound comes directly from the piano. The used audio source ensures a realistic sound reproduction. Connect the P-45 to your computer's USB port and use it as a MIDI controller.
Note: You'll find the included AC adapter on the side of the box, encased in the polystyrene.Number of keys | 88 | |

I've had the piano for a few weeks now. I am a beginner and have little experience or comparison material. I am very satisfied with the whole. Everything feels solid and I think this is great value for money. I am always quite critical of sound quality and that is the only downside in my opinion. The sound itself is nice and full, but I miss a bit of purity or treble or something. I have connected the piano to KRK Rokit6 monitors via tulp. These have much more power and quality than the standard speakers in the housing of the Piano, but the samples remain a bit muffled. This does not hinder the playing pleasure and you should also realize that in this price category not ALL aspects of the piano can be top of the build. So far very satisfied!

I really wanted to start playing the piano, but I didn't have room for a real piano. I also didn't have a lot of money to spend, so this was the perfect buy. I can do anything I wanted to do with it :)

As you would expect from Yamaha, this is a solid product. It is somewhat limited in terms of connections, but because it also has a USB connection, you can even access it as a Midi device from the PC.
