Red Dead Redemption 2 PS4

Disclaimer: I'm a big fan of the first Red Dead Redemption. But this game is superlative in everything: bigger, better, prettier, slower... Slower? Yes, the game is best played at a slow pace, rushing around on your horse through the prairie, enjoying the scenery, the views, the conversations of the people around you, the hundreds of animals that pop up here and there. Nice to tie up your horse at a small train station and play dominos or poker with the locals, while you watch the sun set in the background. LOVELY. Let's be very clear here too: do you like purebred shooters? Then this game may NOT be for you. This is Cowboy Simulator 2018 Ultimate Edition. For everything else, did you ever play cowboys and Indians as a kid? Then play this game and be a REAL cowboy.

This is without a doubt the best game I've ever played, what an adventure! This game is an absolute masterpiece. The game has a large but manageable cast of characters that are each very unique and interesting. You can often quite empathize with many characters, in their ideals, their choices, their emotions. The game also has a (in my opinion) very beautiful, and appropriate soundtrack that allows the songs to blend perfectly into every moment of the game, making the experience even better. There were certainly moments here and there where I spontaneously whimpered towards the end, and I don't often whine about games. The game has very nice graphics, and on top of that it is the most realistic game I have ever played. The physics, the effects, the Attention to Detail, it's all perfect. There is no other game in this world that is as realistic as Red Dead Redemption 2, if you don't believe me, look for a video about it and you'll see what I mean. All in all, Red Dead Redemption 2 is in my opinion the best game ever released, and nothing will top it in years to come. You can easily spend hundreds of hours in this game without getting bored. Rockstar showed the world what you can do with a game if you put a little effort into it (unlike games like Fifa) and I also think that this has/will change the entire gaming industry. Thank you Rockstar for this masterpiece.
