The Sigma 150-600mm F/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C is a super telephoto lens you can use in combination with a Canon full-frame SLR camera for nature and sports photography. The front element of the lens has a water-repellent coating. This makes it possible to photograph while it rains. The image stabilization recognizes sideways movements and adjusts the stabilization accordingly, like when you track an object. With the manual focus ring, you can easily focus. The FLD and the 3 SLD lens elements prevent lens errors while photographing in brightly-lit situations. The optical design contains 20 elements, divided over 14 groups.

For me, this 150/600 lens gets the subjects I photograph nicely close. Since I photograph birds, butterflies and other animals, I can't get too close to them without them flying or running away. This makes this lens a nice addition. I overcome the negative weight by using my tripod. Unfortunately, this makes you a little less fast/flexible, but the result is there.

Excellent lens for these pennies and the weight is not too bad, it takes some getting used to, I also often use a monopod, but I also shot great pictures freehand.

The lens satisfies me fine, its sharp photos and a nice sturdy design. The bag that is included is nice and also works well. The functions on the lens such as auto focus and stabilization are very nice and easy to adjust. The lens lock option is great if you want to stay at 400mm, for example. A UV filter is also recommended, I bought the B+W myself and it is easy to combine with the sun hood.
