According to our patio heater expert
The Heatstrip THD3200EU doesn't emit red light so you're not bothered by unnecessary lighting. The heater is equipped with a powder coated, aluminum coating and is only 4.8 centimeters thick, which allows you to hang it nearly anywhere. Unlike other heat panels, this patio heater isn't wind-sensitive, so it has a high heat intensity. In addition, the patio heater has the largest heat range and the highest heat intensity of the heaters in this series, thanks to its large 3,200-watt power. Keep in mind that the heater doesn't include a power cord, because the patio heater must always be installed by a recognized installer due to the high power output. In addition, if you want to build in this patio heater, you'll need a wall socket with a timer and/or remote (not included) to turn the heater on and off. Check the manual to see where you can and can't hang your product.

Outside I have a roof of about 9 by 3 meters, which is open on the front & 1 side. Below is a jacuzzi and on cold nights I would have liked some heating. After some searching I came across these Grandhall Heatstrips which were quite pricey. But often you pay a bit more for design. After reading multiple reviews I gave it a chance to see if it could really live up to expectations. Unfortunately, with this type of heater you don't have much under a canopy that is not completely closed. They hang at the perfect height and I hung 2 underneath. However, after a good 15 minutes they are really at temperature but the feeling of heat is almost nil (at a distance of 2m, the heat strips are hanging at a height of 2.4m). You only feel heat when you are one meter away from the strips. In addition, there are only 2 positions, namely on or off. For this you have to provide a switch yourself, because the box only contains the heat strip and a (too short) power cable. So you can't regulate temperature, and there is also no security that automatically switches off the device if you forget it, Grandhall itself does not have separate temperature controllers for these devices. The first time we turned on the heat strips, there was a foul burnt smell, at first I thought something was wrong, but since they both had it, after further investigation I noticed that it was the paint/oil coating on the panels. sitting that was burning up (according to the helpdesk this was normal and would be gone after a few hours, this was also the case) but it is a bit of a shock because you don't really know what happened. If you have these heat strips switched on, you will see the disk of the power box rotate quickly, so they consume well! All in all I left them hanging in the hope that they can help the less cold nights in the summer, it was not a success for the winter. If I had known I would have gone for the less attractive gas burners, which are guaranteed to give good heat and are in fact also cheaper in consumption.

The heat strip was quickly delivered by Coolblue. Easy to install, with us arranged in such a way that it can be switched on via an indoor switch. Looks nice and sleek, never gets in the way and is very safe. If chosen for the right capacity, the room is very well heated. Only "on" or "off", no intermediate graduation possible, but that doesn't really bother us. Is a rather expensive, but perfect solution. Very satisfied with our purchase: From now on, our summer evenings will last longer! All our guests who have seen it with us want to buy this too!

Well, it's not a radiant heater, but it's nice that it doesn't illuminate. Stopping doesn't stand out either. We just need to order one more to make it really pleasant to heat. The wind must also be quiet otherwise you will lose your heat.
