A few weeks ago I bought the new Panasonic Lumix GX-7. I am very satisfied with that. Because in quite a bit of cut, I needed a second battery. I had the choice of an original or a "fake" battery. Although the original is more expensive, I still opted for that. That gives a safer feeling and the specified capacity is also slightly larger. The battery is fine and meets expectations. So highly recommended!

The battery (Panasonic DMW-BLG10E) has a slightly larger size than the battery (Panasonic DMW-BCG10E) from my old camera and unfortunately comes without battery charger and without 'protective case'. My previous battery had a cover to prevent the contacts from getting damaged during transport. This is missing. Therefore a star deduction for 'sustainability'. Unfortunately, charging is only possible in the camera (Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ95). Separate battery chargers are in circulation (Panasonic DMW-BTC!2), but they do not seem to be sold in the Netherlands. LOOK OUT! The battery charger Panasonic DMW-BTC!2E is sold in the Netherlands, but is NOT compatible with this battery.
