Coolblue Mug

Coffee, who doesn't know it by now. THE drink in the office. Apparently it's handy to put it in somewhere. After all, not every colleague likes it when you hang your head under the coffee maker to drink coffee, moreover you burn your mouth. Fortunately, I have nice colleagues who were able to tell me that there are liquid containers especially for coffee and other hot drinks, a so-called "mug". I can still hear myself thinking: "they also come up with something for everything". Anyway, I went looking for a "mug" at Coolblue, because yes, they have just about everything there. After filtering the results, I arrived at this "mug". I was eager to start using it anyway. The next day it was time, the "mug" was in. After pushing some colleagues away, I put my "mug" where my mouth often used to be. After pressing the appropriate buttons on the panel (which is a lot easier when you're standing in front of it), the coffee went into my "mug". The liquid also held up nicely. Overjoyed, I grabbed my "mug" and ran to my workplace. Then I noticed a major design problem. The coffee went over the rim of my "mug" with too much movement. "Ah", I thought, "I'll just have to learn to live with that". Once I returned to my workplace, I continued with my work. After an hour I felt like having that coffee and guess what? My coffee had become "cool". "Well, what do you expect Jeroen, it's also on the "mug", cool blue. The "mug" is blue, so it must be cool because it makes the coffee cold", I thought. I wanted to test it anyway. I emptied my "mug", filled it with ice cold water and waited. Unfortunately I came to the conclusion that after an hour my ice-cold water had become warmer. Since I didn't want water anyway, I emptied my "mug" again and went to the kitchen to put coffee in it again. I also felt like a stroopwafel, so I put that on top. "That's a lot easier since I also have to open a door, so I have my hand free", I thought. When I was finally back at my desk it was time to enjoy my stroopwafel and coffee. It was a nice surprise that my stroopwafel was now warm because of the "mug". Furthermore, the design is beautiful. The use of color, typography and where to hold your hand has been well thought out. Despite a few negatives, this "mug" has many positives. It is definitely recommended.

This "mug" was waiting for me on a cold blue Monday morning after a weekend of misfortune, my coffee maker pot had promptly exploded after an unfortunate collision with the kitchen counter. After a message to Cool Blue asking where to find a new one, I was surprised to receive this beautiful piece of functional art along with a satisfactory answer. Price/quality ratio is therefore infinitely good!

Great mug from Coolblue, it's only 6.50 which is a small amount. I've had it in the dishwasher many times and it still looks great. Also very nice that it doesn't let a lot of heat through! Definitely recommended, always fun.
