Very nice, artistic and usable lens where a 'normal' wide angle just doesn't make it. You can limit the distortion as much as possible by taking the sightlines into account. I use the lens on a 500D and 7D (Canon EOS) and with both devices I can take razor-sharp photos without too much fuss.
