Less refilling with a large water tank
The most clear difference between a Tefal steam iron and a Tefal steam generator is the water tank. You can see this right away when you look at the products. A steam generator is much larger, so it fits much more water. This way, you can smoothly iron a lot of clothes without having to stop your ironing job. Of course, you don't have to refill as often. Many steam generators have a detachable water tank. You can fill it underneath the faucet.
Make every fabric wrinkle-free with more steam
When you iron, the amount of steam is very important. With steam, you can remove wrinkles from your favorite piece of clothing. How much steam you need depends on the fabric and the kind of wrinkle. For a dress shirt, you need less steam than for jeans. If you iron many different fabrics, it's useful to go for an iron with a high steam production. This way, you're sure that you can smoothly iron every fabric.
