FAQ delivery and pickup
Can I choose a time slot for the delivery of my product?
For small products, you can choose standard delivery or evening delivery. Standard delivery is between 08:00 and 22:00 (between 10:00 and 20:00 on Sundays) and evening delivery is between 17:30 and 22:00.
For large products delivered by CoolblueDelivers, you can choose a time slot of 4 hours at a fee. Depending on the chosen day and the time slot, you pay extra costs. You choose the time slot while you place your order. You can choose a morning, afternoon, or evening time slot.
If I order today, will my order be delivered tomorrow?
When you place your order, you can choose a delivery moment that suits you from the available days. You receive a Track & Trace once we've shipped your package. You can find the current status and delivery time there.
What can I expect when you place and install my product?
- We'll place your product level in the desired spot.
- We'll connect the product.
- We'll take the packaging with us.
- We'll take your old appliance with us from the spot where you used it.
- We won't leave until everything works. Promised.
Is my delivery free?
If you choose the entire day when you order, the delivery is free. If you choose a part of the day, you pay extra for the delivery of your order.
Do you take my old white goods product or kitchen appliance with you for free?
Yes. CoolblueDelivers can take a product of a comparable size. Make sure your product is ready at the front door:
- Empty, clean, and dry your product.
- Is it a washing machine or dryer? Unplug the hoses. Watch the instruction video to see how to do this.
- Make sure it's ready at the front door. If you chose to have your product installed and connected, we'll take your old product from the place where you were using it.
During the delivery, you can give your old product to us for free. If the product isn't ready yet, we can come back on another day for € 50.
PostNL can take your small kitchen appliances if they're ready at the front door. Pack up the product in a box with a shipping label. You can find how to do this here.
Where in my home do you deliver washing machines or other large products?
We'll carry your product to just past the front door. Do you live in an apartment? We'll carry your appliance to the 4th floor via the stairs. With the elevator, no floor is too high. Check if our delivery driver can fit through all doorways, hallways, and the stairwell with the product.
Delivery with extra (installation) service
Did you choose one of our services? We'll carry your product to any desired spot in your house and connect it there for you. If the service is available, you can add it to your order on the page of your chosen product.
We only deliver heavy products like an American fridge to the ground floor.
What extra services do you offer for the delivery of white goods or kitchen appliances?
That differs per product. You can select the extra services on the page of the product you've chosen. You can also see the costs of the extra services there. Unfortunately, not all installation services are available if there's a large demand.
Washing machines and dryers
- We can place your washing machine, dryer, or washer dryer combination in the desired spot and connect it for you as well.
- If you have a washing machine and dryer, we can place them on top of each other using a stacking kit.
- If you have a pull switch and water connector, we can connect your appliance and disconnect the old one for you.
- For some products, we also change the door direction for you by default.
- We'll take your old product with us for free. We do ask you to disconnect and clean it in advance. In this video, you can see how to do that. If you ordered the extra connection service, we'll take the old product from the place it was installed in. If you didn't order this service, we'll take your old product with us if it's ready at the front door.
Dishwashers, fridges, and freezers
- We'll place your product in the desired spot in the house, level it, and connect it.
- We'll build in your product and we'll install the front panel.
- We'll take your old product with us for free if you've emptied and cleaned it. If you've selected build-in service, we'll also take out the old product for you. If you didn't select this service, we ask you to take out the appliance yourself and place it near the front door so we can take it with us.
Ovens and microwaves
- We'll place your product in the desired spot in the house, level it, and connect it.
- We'll build in your product at the desired spot and remove your old appliance.
- We'll take your old product with us for free if you've emptied and cleaned it. If you chose the build-in service, we'll also take out the old product for you. If you didn't, we ask you to place it next to the front door yourself so that we can take it with us.
On the Wadden Islands, you can't use our installation service. That's because our delivery partner will deliver your product.
Can I also pick up my package at a PostNL point?
Yes, for small products you can choose a PostNL point near you when you place your order. As soon as your order is ready, PostNL will let you know that you can pick it up. Your package will stay at the PostNL point for 7 days.
How do I recycle my old product?
We take care of the recycling of your old product if you hand it in. You can hand in your product in multiple ways:
- You can send it via a PostNL point or give it to a PostNL delivery driver. Pack the product in a box with a shipping label. You can read how to do that here.
- You give your old product to the Coolblue delivery driver when we deliver a new product to you. It's important that the old product has a comparable size and is ready at the front door.
- Visit one of our stores and hand in your old product.
What's the fastest way to get my package?
The fastest way to get your order is to pick it up in the store. On the product page, you can see the stores that have that product in stock. Click the 'Pick up in the store' button and pick it up today.
