Modern charging station
The BlueBuilt charging station is a modern charging station that we mount to a wall or pole. You can charge your car with up to 22kW. You can see how many kilowatt-hours you've charged on the display, for example. The charging station is available with a fixed 4.5m charging cable, so you can start charging right away. Is your car charged? Wrap the cable around the charging station for easy storage. Would you rather have a separate charging cable? That's also possible. You can choose between a white and space gray charging station. The charging station is made and tested in the Netherlands.
Smart functions
Load balancing
With Dynamic Load Balancing, the BlueBuilt charging station adjusts itself to the available energy in your home. Are you turning on your washing machine or dryer during a charging session? The charging speed of your charging station will lower temporarily. This prevents the fuses from blowing. As soon as you're done washing, the charging station will resume at its regular speed. Do you want this function? For an extra fee, our installers will adjust the charging station and your fuse box for this.
Bidirectional charging
With bidirectional charging, the energy from your home goes to the car and the other way around via your charging station. You can store energy this way. That's useful if the energy prices are low or if you have solar panels. You can charge the battery with cheap energy from during the day and use this energy at night for your oven or cooktop. That way, you'll consume less gray energy from the power grid.
Smart Charging
With Smart Charging, you can set up a charging schedule when the energy rates are low or your solar panels are on. Your car will then automatically charge during the charging schedule. That means you'll pay less for a full battery. Charging during off-peak times can save you about € 230 on your annual energy bill. You can easily set up a charging schedule via the Coolblue App.
